How Innertags uses Google data
An agency can connect its own Google account with “Sign in with Google”. Innertags asks only for the services below, and uses the data solely to show that agency its own reports, analysis and recommendations. A client's YouTube channel is connected separately, with its own sign-in, and used only as described below. Access can be removed at any time, in Innertags or in the Google account's security settings.
- Google AdsRead and approved changes
Campaigns, keywords, search terms, budgets and conversions, to report on them and recommend changes. A change — such as adding a keyword or a negative keyword — is made only after a user approves it. When a user asks for it and confirms, a video from the client’s media library is uploaded for that account’s ads; Google keeps it, unlisted, on a YouTube channel it manages for the account.
- Google AnalyticsRead-only
Traffic and conversion reports for the websites the agency selects, shown in client reports.
- Search ConsoleRead-only
Search queries, rankings and clicks for the selected websites, to track SEO over time.
- Tag ManagerRead-only
Container configuration, to check that tracking tags are installed as intended.
- Business ProfileRead and manage
Business listings and customer reviews, for reputation reports.
- Merchant CenterRead
Product listings, to check the quality of product feeds.
- YouTubeView the channel and upload videos
Connected per client, with a sign-in of its own. Reads the connected channel’s name and picture and its list of videos, so a video can be picked for the client’s ads, and uploads a video from the client’s media library to that channel — unlisted unless the user chooses otherwise — only when a user asks for it and confirms. It does not change or delete videos already on YouTube.
- Sign in with GoogleName and email
Lets a person sign in with the Google account they linked in their profile.
Google data is never sold and never used for advertising. Innertags' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
An agency can connect with “Sign in with Facebook” or “Sign in with LinkedIn” to publish content to the Pages its clients have given it access to. Innertags lists the Pages the signed-in person manages, so the agency can pick the right one per client, and publishes only posts the agency has approved. It does not read messages, followers, or anything else from these accounts.
Lists the Pages the signed-in person manages, so the agency can pick which Page belongs to which client, and publishes posts the agency has approved to that Page.
Publishes approved posts to the Instagram business account linked to the client’s Facebook Page.
Lists the Company Pages the signed-in person administers, and publishes approved posts to the one picked for a client.
